For what you get from each program, the difference in price is reasonable, even if Guitar Tricks is just more expensive. People will like you better and your service will be more popular and successful. Misleading information I was under the impression that the Ultimate guitar pro Subscription was on sale. To be fair, an Ultimate Guitar Pro membership is far cheaper than Guitar Tricks. Why are companies slimy like this? Just be honest & transparent & give your customers control to renew or not. If you are looking for a tool that will get your playing to the next level, or you want to compose your own songs, look no further than Guitar Pro. ![]() These are all red flags to me, and I won't be renewing my subscription, I'll find another way to get tabs or use their free version. I had to contact support to do that and it was a huge convoluted email conversation with two different support people who really did *not* get what I was asking for (or didn't *want* to get what I was asking for). I bought a lifetime subscription years ago. Also those Pro tabs are often just copies of the GP files. Even those who do a lot of YouTube covers or just like to learn songs as part of their practice routine would really enjoy this subscription. So I've had 2 subscriptions to Pro for some months now. I contacted support about accidentally subscribing twice, and they said they'd fix it, but they never did. Theres just a lot of nice features that you can do with the Pro option that you cant do with the free version of Ultimate Guitar. ![]() ![]() I ended up subscribing - again - to "Pro + Courses" for $59.99/yr. 12 reviews of Ultimate Guitar I signed up for their monthly Tab Pro subscription and was charged for last 3 months. I ended up giving my credit card info again, thinking that the app version needed that info, too (as proof of subscription), in order for me to log in. I tried to login with my website password and I couldn't. Absolutely not Just download the Guitar Pro app instead (then not only bound to UG) or use songsterr which is getting better and better. I signed up via the website for a $64.99/yr subscription to "Pro." I wanted to use UG on my mobile phone, too, so I downloaded the app on my phone (UG is supposedly cross-platform). I won't be renewing my subscription and will be using the free version instead. ![]()
